Tigers welcome north Florida Tuesday night


AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women’s basketball team play their second of four straight home games on Tuesday night when North Florida visits Auburn Arena. Game time is 7:00 p.m. CT.

Auburn (3-3) is looking to build on the momentum of a 91-42 rout from Charleston Southern on Friday afternoon that saw Auburn’s 13 players play important minutes. In fact, every player dressed for Auburn scored and had a rebound in the game, led by a career-high 27 points from Aicha Couilbaly and 21 from Annie hugues.

North Florida (5-2) are one of the best teams in the country, averaging 84.5 points per game to place 10e nationally. The Ospreys won on the road at College of Charleston on Saturday 86-76.

Auburn and UNF met last season at Auburn Arena with the Tigers scoring a 94-81 victory; Hughes had his previous career high in that game with 17 points.
