Gators unveil 2022 volleyball schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — With Florida’s 39th volleyball season on the horizon, the 2022 schedule and ticket information has been announced by the head coach Mary wise.

The Gators have 28 regular season contests scheduled in the 2022 campaign – including 17 games at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

UF is coming off a 22-9 season in 2021, including a 14-4 conference record. The Gators made the program’s 28th overall appearance and fifth straight regional semifinal appearance.

Florida kicks off the 2022 campaign with the Gators Invitational, welcoming North Florida, East Tennessee State University and Virginia to town on August 26-27.

The Gators continue their home stretch when the Stanford Cardinal comes to Gainesville for a midweek game on August 30. After facing Stanford, UF travels to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers on September 4.

After that, Florida hosts the Sunshine Invitational, with Georgia Southern, Florida Gulf Coast and VCU all set to play at Exactech Arena on September 9-10.

UF next hosts state rival Florida State at the O’Dome on September 13 before facing the 2021 national champions in the Wisconsin Badgers on September 16. This game will serve as the last non-conference fight of the season in Florida.

The Gators kick off SEC play on Wednesday, Sept. 21 when the Alabama Crimson Tide heads to Gainesville. After that, Florida travels to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks in a two-game series Sept. 24-25.

UF continues its journey with a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, against Lady Vols on October 5.

The Gators then return to Exactech Arena for a two-game series against LSU on October 8-9, then hit the road to face Mississippi State the following weekend (October 14-15).

The Georgia Bulldogs travel to town on Oct. 19 for a midweek game, then the Gators will be out for a week before heading to Auburn on Oct. 26.

Next, Florida has a three-game homestand, with a two-game series at Arkansas on October 29-30, followed by a singles game against Missouri on November 4.

The Gators are next scheduled to face the Texas A&M Aggies on Nov. 12 in College Station, Texas, before wrapping up the home game of their program against the Kentucky Wildcats on Nov. 19-20.

Florida’s 2022 regular season concludes with a trip to Oxford, Mississippi, to face the Rebels in a two-game series Nov. 25-26.

Ticket sale dates:

  • June 15-17 | Former season ticket holders select new seats via designated appointment
  • June 20 | Season tickets on sale to the public
  • August 2nd | Match tickets on sale

The 2022 season offers a new seat map for all, season ticket holders can select their seat from our new map.

The enhanced 2022 seating plan offers reserved and general admission options close to the action, creating an electric home environment for our fans and student-athletes.

Passholders will now have a new perk called “Mix-and-Match”. This gives season ticket holders the option of exchanging their tickets for matches they will not be able to attend in exchange for additional tickets for the matches they attend. * This excludes box and court season ticket holders unless they wish to redeem for regular reserved seating.

Former season ticket holders will have their first chance to choose their new seats from designated appointments on Wednesday, June 15.

New subscription buyers can make their deposits now! This will put you online right after returning season ticket holders and before the general public.

Monday, June 20 will be the first opportunity for the general public to buy their subscriptions for the 2022 campaign.

Tickets will remain fully mobile through the Florida Gators app for the 2022 season.

The sale of tickets for a match will begin in August.
