CHARLOTTE, NC – New developments in Brian Laundrie’s research. The Sarasota County medical examiner and a cadaver dog were called to a Florida state park on Wednesday where some of Brian Laundries’ belongings were found. Human remains were also found, but the FBI has not said who owns the remains. His parents informed the FBI and police that they would be at the park Wednesday morning looking for him. And, after a “short search”, they found “a few articles” that belong to him. The police are currently carrying out a more in-depth investigation in this area.

“These objects were found in an area which, until recently, was underwater. Our evidence response team is on site and using all available forensic resources to treat the area. It is likely that the team will be there for several days. I know you have a lot of questions, but we don’t have all the answers yet. We are working diligently to get those answers for you, ”said Michael McPherson, FBI Special Agent.

Our evening question: Do you think Brian Laundrie’s family will be more cooperative after Wednesday’s discovery?
